In Little Rock, a deputy was attempting to issue an eviction notice when the resident of the house started firing gunshots at the deputy. Pulaski County deputies, Little Rock Police Department, Arkansas State Police and crisis negotiators all responded to the standoff. The man barricaded himself inside the house while the negotiators had several communications with him. He finally came out around 2:30 PM and the standoff ended without any injury. FOX16
On Tuesday, it's said that a single-engine plane crashed and caught on fire at Wright Brothers National Memorial's First Flight Airport in North Carolina. Five victims had been identified by the National Park Service (NPS). 31 year old Shashwat Ajit Adhikari, 43 year old Jason Ray Campbell, 39 year old Kate McAllister Neely, 44 year old Matthew Arthur Fassnacht, and 6 year old that could not be identified (according to the article, the name was not provided). The airplane, the Cirrus SR-22, crashed around 5 PM on Saturday in a wooded area near the airstrip. The plane was attempting to land at the airport when it crashed according to witnesses. Fox News
An unexploded 500-pound American bomb from World War II that had been buried at a Japanese airport exploded on Wednesday. The explosion created a large crater in a taxiway and more then 80 flights had to be cancelled. Fortunately, no injuries were caused by the sudden detonation of the bomb. ABC News
Major League Baseball's all-time hits leader Pete Rose dies at the age of 83. His cause of death, according to Clark County, Nevada, medical examiner's office, was hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. On a real note, Rose wasn't just known for playing Major League Baseball and being a player-manager. In 1989 he was placed on MLB's ineligible list after an investigation revealed that he had been gambling on baseball, even on his own team, when he was manager. He didn't admit to the gambling until 2004, but he claimed that it was never against his team. During his ban from baseball, he faced time in prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion. He had also been involved with other activities that did not stick as the lawsuits were dismissed. When he went to receive the guitar, he smashed it with a hammer. Despite this questionable action, Estes insisted that he has no ill will against Swift and claimed that the smashing of the guitar was a joke. NBC News

As soon as the man had his hand in it's mouth, the reptile snapped it's jaws around the guys hand. Fortunately, he pulled his had just in time to keep his hand attached to his arm, though he was still wounded. NDTV
Elon Musk made a tweet responding to a post questioning the attempted assassination on Former President Donald Trump. His tweet said "And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala 🤔." The tweet received a lot of backlash as he has deleted it. After that, Musk madea couple more tweets trying to defend himself, claiming that he was just joking. One said, "No one has even tried to do do is the point I'm making and no one will." Another stated, "Well, one lesson I've learned is that just because I say something to a group and they laugh doesn't mean it's going to be all that hilarious as a post on 𝕏" Mashable
Lebanese officials have stated that at least five people have been killed and eight people were wounded in an Israeli air strike on a building in central Beirut. There were five other air strikes overnight against targets in the southern suburb of Dahieh. BBC News
9. You Can Finally Eat A Krabby Patty At Wendy's This year everyone's favorite Nickelodeon show Spongebob Squarepants will be celebrating its 25th birthday. To add to the celebration, Wendy's is teaming up with Paramount to bring the Krabby Patty to life. This Krabby Patty will consist of Wendy's signature fresh beef, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, and a top secret Krabby Kollab Sauce. The Fugees are a Hip-hop group containing Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel. They became famous in the mid 1990s. On Tuesday, October 1st, a lawsuit was made against Lauryn Hill. Pras was accusing her of fraud and breach of contract. He made claims that Hill had exploited his need for cash amid mounting legal problems to get him to sign onto a plan for a 2023 tour in which she enriched herself at his expense. Two students attending Harvard have created a way to dox people in real time using smart glasses. The tech works by using the Meta smart glasses' ability to livestream on Instagram. Then a computer program monitors the stream and uses AI to identify faces. The photos of peoples faces taken from livestream are then fed into public databases to find names, addresses, phone numbers, and even relatives. All of that information is then fed back through a phone app. AnhPhu Nguyen, one of the two students that created these glasses, posted a video on X showing how they work. The Verge
